A skulk of foxes
a skulk of foxes— red coats for the morning hunt perfectly tailored
Fox hunting, a centuries-old pastime of the English gentry, has been banned by law, thankfully. But I wanted to use “a skulk of foxes,” with the wonderful old noun “skulk” for a group of foxes. Plus, the phrase comprises five syllables. You can decide whose red coats were perfectly tailored, the British gentlemen in their finery or the foxes being hunted.
